Base pay range
Manchester House, Southport
Full time - permanent
Up to £66,000 per annum dependant on experience plus up to £4000 bonus scheme

We have been providing quality care for our residents for over 30 years and pride ourselves on the happy, welcoming atmosphere in all of our homes. Dovehaven provides a full range of care for residential and nursing needs, for both long-term and respite periods.
An exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse Manager has arisen at Manchester House in Southport.
Manchester House Nursing home accommodates up to 67 service users including young, physically disabled residents and elderly residents.
Manchester House is a beautifully restored Victorian Villa, overlooking Hesketh Park in Southport, offering an ideal setting for the exceptional care we deliver. Our experienced and dedicated nursing team provides specialist care that is truly second to none.
We are currently looking for a caring, organised, and experienced Manager for this role.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Managing and developing high-quality services for all our residents
2. Developing and guiding the team of staff
3. Encouraging and instilling a culture of care and continuous improvement across the service
4. Actively working with staff, residents, and their families to help shape and develop a centre of excellence for person-centred care
5. Promoting high standards of nursing care, following CQC and NMC guidelines, by ensuring all staff are managed appropriately and the Home runs smoothly and efficiently
Skills and Experience:
1. Self-motivated, resilient, and well-organised
2. Dependable and honest
3. Able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the residents and the Home
4. Proven track record in leading, motivating, managing, and developing staff
5. A clear understanding of leadership responsibilities in social care
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Essential Skills:
1. Proven management experience within the sector
2. RGN/RMN qualified with active NMC Pin
3. Experience of leadership and mentoring staff
4. An enhanced DBS certificate is required for this role
