Summary

You’ll work in our Cirencester office alongside experienced professionals in our Marketing team, designing, implementing and measuring the effectiveness of our campaigns and partnerships whilst gaining real insight into the world of financial services and core skills that will support your long-term career.

Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm (typically). Th is role is based at our offices in Cirencester, Gloucestershire and you will be required in the office 2-3 days each week and sometimes more depending on business requirements.

What you'll do at work

The Marketing Campaigns team are responsible for the design, execution and performance measurement of marketing campaigns for St James’s Place to ensure our position as one of the market-leading wealth management organisations in the UK .

Key Responsibilities;

* Supports the design, execution and performance measurement  of marketing campaigns and partnerships
* Help facilitate strong collaboration across teams within CCM and wider business
* Ensures campaign activity is executed within compliance parameters
* Keeps track of all owned outputs to ensure that activity in their area meets the expected results and return on investment (ROI), including analysis and evaluation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through own team and Data Analytics team
* Recommends any adjustments should market or business conditions change
* Collaborate with wider functions for all ‘owned’ distribution through websites and social channels as well as articulation  through the Account Management and Consultancy functions 
* Collect and use data from the Insight team to target selected groups in a partnership or campaign 
* Collect and use data from the Data Analytics team to assess campaign and partnership performance and to inform future activity

What you'll learn

Course contents

* Develop or interpret briefs for external or internal stakeholders and measure delivery in-line with the specification and agreed timelines
* Plan and coordinate a marketing activity using marketing tactics to acquire and retain one or more customer segments using available resources.
* Contribute to the generation of innovative and creative approaches across video, images, and other formats, both online and offline, to support campaign development.
* Use research/survey software to gather audience insight and/or evaluation to support the project.
* Use copywriting techniques to write persuasive text/copy to meet a communications objective ensuring it is in-line with organisational brand guidelines.
* Build and implement multi-channel campaigns across a variety of platforms, either offline or digital media.
* Proofread marketing copy ensuring it is accurate, persuasive and is on brand.
* Use software to design and create marketing assets to meet the technical specification.
* Contribute to the research of external suppliers to support recommendations and procurement of marketing goods and services.
* Organise offline and digital assets ensuring they are co-ordinated and legally compliant.
* Use a website content management system to publish text, images, and video/animated content.
* Create and maintain spreadsheets to support marketing activities such as project/budget planning and organisation of marketing assets.
* Use technology and software packages to support day to day activities, e.g., stakeholder communications, development of briefs, data analysis, report writing, presentations and project management.
* Identify and use data and technologies to achieve marketing objectives.
* Monitor and amend campaigns to meet budget requirements including time and monetary costs.
* Review campaigns regularly to ensure effectiveness, to optimise the results.
* Measure and evaluate campaign delivery to identify areas for improvement.
* Use data analysis tools to record, interpret and analyse customer or campaign data.

Training schedule

This will be a combination of in person classes at Cirencester College and completing coursework.


Requirements


Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

* English (grade 5)
* Maths (grade 5)

A Level in:

Any subject (grade On track to complete/completed)

Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.
