Role- CNC Turner Location- Knottingley Salay- Negotiable depending upon experience Days- Mon – Fri 8am – 4pm We are looking for an experienced CNC Turner for a subcontract precision Engineering company in Knottingley, specialising in batch work and bespoke projects, small to medium components. Duties will involve - * Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications. * Experience working to close tolerance * Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files to ensure accurate production. * Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation. * Handle materials safely and efficiently, ensuring proper storage and inventory management. * Do initial quality inspection for 1st Off’s * Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Experience * Proven experience as a CNC Operator in a precision engineering environment. * Confident using hand tools * Apprentice trained or engineering qualification is an advantage but not essential * Ability to read Engineering drawings is essential * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
