HGV Technician - Blyth
Salary: £16-£18 per hour dependent on experience.
Shifts: Dayshift: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:30
Backshift: Monday - Friday - 13:30 - 22:00
Saturday is OT 08:00 - 12.00 – Usually worked on the week of Backshift.
Alternate weeks.

What you'll do:
1. Carry out repairs to a high standard according to Volvo procedures, safely and responsibly
2. Assist in the fault diagnosis process
3. Service Customer Vehicles and complete service sheets.
4. Road test vehicles when required (if you hold an HGV license)
5. Assist with roadside breakdowns.
6. Process all relevant paperwork relating to jobs accurately
7. Ensure all vehicle defects are reported
8. Keep all workshop facilities, equipment, and tools clean, tidy and well maintained
9. Help us in supporting the development of trainees and apprentices

Who are you?
Do you hold a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and have previous experience working on HGV’s or have you completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry?
