Forklift Operative
London Gateway, Stanford-Le-Hope
£13.50ph
Monday to Friday, 0900 - 1800
Immediate start following interview
Working for our client on a prestigious contract based out of London Gateway, with a real prospect of becoming permanent for the right person.
Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to move and stack materials
Able to move palletised goods around the site safely.
Transport materials to designated areas within the warehouse or production facility
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
This position will mainly be FLT based, however manual handling and general warehouse duties will be required.
Skills:
Valid forklift operator certification
Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or production setting
Strong knowledge of forklift safety procedures and best practices
Ability to accurately read and interpret work orders or instructions
Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
