CMA Recruitment Group is partnering with a growing engineering organisation based in Southampton, Hampshire to recruit an HR Advisor for a 12-month fixed-term contract. What will the HR Advisor role involve?
* As the HR Advisor, support end-to-end recruitment processes, liaising with hiring managers to ensure alignment with business needs.
* Provide guidance on performance management, disciplinary, grievance and investigation matters, in line with company policy and UK employment law.
* Prepare and analyse HR metrics and reports to support data-driven decision making.
* Coordinate training programmes and support the development of learning materials for both in-person and digital delivery.
* Maintain accurate compliance records including WTD and absence reporting; assist with monthly payroll checks.
* Support cyclical HR activities such as salary reviews, engagement surveys and talent assessments.
* Provide day-to-day HR administrative support and act as first point of contact for HR-related queries.
Suitable Candidate for the HR Advisor vacancy:
* CIPD qualified or part-qualified (Level 5 desirable) with previous experience in a generalist HR role.
* Strong understanding of UK employment legislation and confident handling of employee relations cases.
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrix environment.
* Proficient in using HRIS (Workday) and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the business.
* Adaptable, detail-oriented and proactive with a collaborative working style.
