About Our Team
The Water specialists help manage water throughout the water cycle. Projects include flood risk management, hydraulic modelling, sustainable drainage, mains infrastructure, pumping stations, water resources, and more.
Role Overview
As a Civil Engineering Graduate you will work on global projects, learning hydraulic, structural and environmental design. You will:
* Undertake numerical analysis using computer‑based programmes for potable, surface and wastewater systems.
* Conduct technical and feasibility studies for alternative solutions in potable water, foul water, surface water and attenuation, including calculations.
* Perform structural analysis and design, determining design situations, load cases and using analysis software.
* Create designs for water infrastructure such as pump systems and pipe networks, including safety design and risk assessment.
* Produce sketches, check and consolidate working drawings from technicians.
* Keep abreast of regulations and guidelines that affect design work.
* Work with team members on technical work, site visits and project management.
* Gain experience on site to understand implementation of designs.

Qualifications
We’re looking for candidates with:
* BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering (2:1 or equivalent). MEng or MSc in Civil, Structural or Water Engineering is an advantage.
* Water‑related modules and relevant work experience are advantageous.
* Enthusiastic, hard‑working, technically proficient with ambition and drive.
* Basic computer skills (Word/Excel) and good report writing.
* Willing to pursue professional qualifications such as ICE & CIWEM.
* Demonstrable interest in water projects and ability to consider financial/commercial implications.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to structure and prioritise work and work independently.
