Key Responsibilities
• Create accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings for bespoke joinery using SolidWorks and other industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD).
• Collaborate with sales, project management, and procurement teams to understand project needs.
• Interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and instructions for wood fabrication.
• Update and revise CAD files to meet project and client requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Provide technical input during design meetings to optimize wood layouts and construction details.
• Maintain organized documentation and archiving of drawings per company processes.
• Support manufacturing teams with technical guidance on CAD designs.
Skills and Experience
• Proven experience (ideally 2+ years) in producing technical drawings for bespoke luxury cabinetry or high-end joinery.
• Proficient in SolidWorks, SWOOD Design other CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD).
• Strong knowledge of joinery materials, construction methods, and hardware.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.
• Clear communicator, able to present technical information to teams and clients.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet project deadlines.
• Collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn new techniques or software.
