We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Planner in our London office.
Department Overview
The primary purpose of this position is to initiate analysis and develop robust financial and merchandising strategy for a growing omni‑channel business. You will manage multiple product categories, ensure maximising of commercial opportunities, and develop and appraise team members.
What You’ll Do
* Set and manage financial targets by category across an omni channel business.
* Update and manage the monthly OTB, presenting risks and opportunities to senior management.
* Create reports and recaps of the business, monitoring performance of sales, inventory, markdowns and profit by classification from top‑line to store level.
* Alongside buying counterparts, recommend buys based on thorough analysis of the retail business prior to each market to achieve increased sales, profitability and sell‑through.
* Make assortment decisions according to regional needs.
* Manage the allocator, ensuring distribution actions support the achievement of financial plans and product strategies.
* Manage promotional and markdown activities to support the achievement of sales and inventory plans.
* Build and develop a highly motivated and results‑driven team.
* Develop robust exit strategies for old stock.
Qualifications
* Must have 5+ years experience in merchandise planning.
* Minimum bachelor’s degree.
* Advanced Excel skills and computer literate.
* Strong analytical skills, creative problem‑solving, and ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
* Dynamic, resilient, and able to work at a fast pace.
