Location: North West\n Employment Type: Full-Time, Temp to Perm\n Rate: £18 p/h CIS \n Hours: 40 hrs a week, Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm\n\nAbout the Role:\n\nWe're working with a client who is based in Chester who has an exciting opportunity for Skilled Joiner to join their team with work across the North West areas. You may occasionally be required to travel further afield depending on contract demands. The successful candidate will be responsible for joinery maintenance, repairs, and installations in a variety of tenanted properties.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nCarry out joinery repairs and maintenance on social housing properties\nInstall, repair, and maintain doors, kitchens, flooring, skirting, and other woodwork\nUndertake minor works in other trades such as tiling, plastering, and basic plumbing when required.\nWork independently to diagnose and resolve joinery-related issues\nEnsure work is carried out safely and in compliance with health & safety regulations\nProvide excellent customer service and liaise effectively with tenants and stakeholdersRequirements:\n\nNVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent)\nValid CSCS card (preferred but not essential)\nPrevious experience working in social housing\nFull UK driving licence (company vehicle may be provided)\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\nStrong communication & customer service skills \n\nWhat to Do Next:\n\nIf you're interested in this opportunity, click 'apply now' to send your CV, or get in touch with us for more details.\n\nPlease call Lucy from Building Careers on (phone number removed) / (phone number removed)\n\nBuilding Careers UK specialises in Construction and Property recruitment and serves as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
