This is an excellent opportunity to join their expanding team as a Planner, working on diverse, high-impact projects across East Anglia and beyond.
The Role
As a key member of the planning team, you’ll play an essential role in ensuring that construction programmes are realistic, efficient, and fully aligned with project goals.
Your responsibilities will include:
Developing and managing detailed construction programmes that reflect real on-site progress and contractual obligations.
Producing and maintaining NEC3/NEC4 programmes for submission and acceptance.
Monitoring site progress, identifying potential delays, and working with teams to develop mitigation strategies.
Reviewing compensation events and variations, preparing robust evidence to support contractual claims.
Supporting commercial teams with programme input for cost and resource planning.
Communicating clearly with project teams and clients through accurate updates and forecasts.
Contributing to tender programmes and assisting the preconstruction team with competitive bids.
Building strong relationships across multiple projects and regions.
Supporting and mentoring junior planners, fostering a collaborative and forward-thinking planning culture.
About You
We’re looking for someone with the drive and curiosity to make an impact. You’ll ideally bring:
Experience as a Planner, or a strong background in engineering, project management, or site-based roles.
Knowledge of construction contracts (NEC3/NEC4 desirable).
Experience using ASTA Powerproject (preferred but not essential).
Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Experience in civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
