Advanced Practitioner - Children's Localities
£37.00 per hour

37 hours p/w, hybrid
About the role:
1. We are looking for an experienced social worker who is able to manage a caseload comprising of Child and Family Assessments, Child in Need, Child Protection, Child Care Proceedings until permanence.
2. This caseload will have a level of complexity and lead worker responsibilities working alongside other social workers, it will not have supervisory / line manager responsibilities.
3. Social workers should be able to practice restoratively with child and families and promote family led decisions to manage risk and meet support needs.
4. Applicants must demonstrate excellent relational work with children and families and be able to engage children through direct work and child centred practice.
5. Organisation skills and ability to meet competing demands are required to ensure practice standards, good quality and practice and performance.
6. The post requires workers to have good analytical assessment skills and with high quality written work.
7. Social workers will need to work as part of a busy but supportive team and share their knowledge and skills to promote the learning culture.
What you need:
8. A degree in Social Work or equivalent
9. Registered with Social Care Wales/ Social Work England
10. At least 3 years PQE permanent, direct employment within English LA
11. Completed relevant post-qualifying training
12. Enhanced DBS check
13. Excellent communication and written skills
