Customs & Trade Regulations Analyst – Homebased
Opportunity:

Role Overview:
As a Customs & Trade Regulations Analyst, you will coordinate compliance for UK and Irish import and export activities, ensuring adherence to International Trade, Customs, and Government Agency laws and regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Support International Trade and Customs operations in the UK and Ireland.
2. Standardize and document post-Brexit import/export processes and internal controls.
3. Assist local teams and brokers with new clearance processes.
4. Identify and mitigate customs duty exposure.
5. Implement new customs obligations.
6. Sustain the company's AEO Certification in the UK.
Contract Details:
12-month contract with potential extension or permanent placement, depending on performance. Fully remote role with travel to company sites as needed.
PAYE rate: £40.00 - £46.68 per hour.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Knowledge of Customs and Trade Compliance Regulations (Tariff, origin, valuation).
* Experience with UK and Ireland customs activities, including managing authorizations (e.g., EIDR, SDP) and platforms (CHIEF, TSS, ROS).
* Experience working with brokers and managing customs control towers.
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems (preferably JD Edwards).
