We are looking for a part-time Speech and Language Therapist to join our expanding Therapeutic Team in Deal, Kent.
The role involves working across 2 school sites with KS3 and KS4 children in a specialist SEN/SEMH environment.

Who are we?
Horizon Care & Education seeks a creative Speech and Language Therapist to join our passionate team, providing comprehensive therapeutic support for children in our care. The role includes supporting and overseeing educational teams.
Training delivery is a key part of the role. At Horizon, we train staff in our Shine Therapeutic model, which includes DDP/PACE therapeutic parenting.
This role offers opportunities to further develop your therapeutic skills and support colleagues across the Horizon Group to achieve positive outcomes for young people in our independent schools. Nearly Qualified applications are accepted.
What you’ll do:
* Manage your own caseload of schools, providing support and consultation to operational colleagues.
* Offer therapeutic advice and guidance to enable support for young people throughout their journey with Horizon.
* Conduct assessments, set goals, and recommend therapeutic interventions for your caseload.
* Develop, write, and review/update therapeutic goals for children and young people.
* Contribute to delivering therapeutic and psychological training as part of the Therapeutic Academy.
* Participate in supervision and CPD activities.
* Engage in service development activities across the Horizon Group.
What we’re looking for:
* HCPC registered.
* BSc in Speech and Language Therapy.
* Experience working with children and young people or relevant transferable skills.
* Nearly Qualified applications accepted.
* Desire to embed therapeutic practice in services.
* Experience in teaching, training, or supervision.
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
* Ability to work autonomously with supervision support.
* Role model behaviors aligned with organizational values.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.
* Full UK driving license and own vehicle.
