We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Locum Ward Pharmacist to join our team in Birmingham. This role is perfect for a dedicated professional passionate about providing exceptional pharmaceutical care in a clinical ward setting. You will work in a dynamic environment, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients.
Responsibilities:
* Manage a caseload of patients on the wards, providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care.
* Conduct medication reviews and ensure accurate dispensing of medications.
* Provide expert advice on drug therapy.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of pharmacy services.
* Provide dispensary support as needed, ensuring efficient medication management and patient safety.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Registered Pharmacist with GPHC.
* Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in pharmacotherapy.
* Minimum of 1 year post-registration experience in a clinical ward setting.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
* Experience with dispensary support is desirable.
