We are seeking a proactive and organised Operations Coordinator to manage the allocation, movement, and tracking of company assets and equipment. The role involves coordinating with multiple teams to ensure equipment is compliant, maintained, and available when needed, while supporting operational efficiency across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Track and manage equipment and asset requests through the internal management system.
Coordinate the movement of assets between depots, offices, and client sites.
Maintain accurate records of equipment, including serial numbers, service histories, and compliance documentation.
Ensure all assets meet current inspection and testing requirements and are fit for purpose.
Liaise with depot, workshop, and service teams to schedule maintenance, repairs, and servicing.
Support planning of asset movements to meet operational demands and project requirements.
Produce reports on asset availability, utilisation, and operational KPIs.
Escalate potential shortages or operational issues to management.
Act as the main point of contact for internal teams regarding equipment status.Skills and Experience:
Previous experience in a busy operations, logistics, or equipment hire environment.
Strong organisational, communication, and multitasking skills.
Supervisory or team leadership experience is desirable.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with asset or hire management systems is advantageous.
Strong focus on Health & Safety awareness.
