As the Development Manager, you'll be responsible for maximising the financial and non-financial benefits of ERF projects. You'll fulfil the client role for the Fund, commissioning internal and external colleagues to buy land, secure planning and other consents, and appoint and contract manage design and technical consultants.

As the development Manager you will;
1. work closely with ERF's in-house economist and programme coordinators, and the Council's development surveyors and project managers
2. Appraise a development land opportunity for potential acquisition
3. working with ERF's fund and asset managers to assess the nature and extent of market failure
4. Lead on the negotiation of a promotion agreement for a sector development project, supporting ECC's Legal and Finance teams to complete the transaction
5. Lead on appointing design and technical consultants during RIBA Stages 0 to 2
