We’re looking for a proactive SHE and Facilities Manager to embed a positive safety culture and ensure environmental compliance and facilities excellence across our dynamic site operations.
You'll collaborate with site and central teams to support training, lead continuous improvements, and make a real impact on safety and sustainability.
About the RoleThe duties and responsibilities for this SHE and Facilities Manager role include:
Training & Documentation: Plan and support SHE/MHE training and assessments in line with company and national standards; maintain accurate training records via My Academy.
National Policy Implementation: Collaborate with central safety teams to deliver national policies, campaigns, toolbox talks, and participate in safety committees and process owner group meetings.
Site Safety Operations: Lead and document site safety meetings, audits, and compliance checks and ensure contractor control, waste management and adherence with environmental and energy policies.
Safety Culture & Incident Response: Investigate incidents, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and promote a proactive safety culture by being a visible advocate across all shifts.
Business Continuity: Support business continuity planning and threat analysis in partnership with the BC Manager.
Site Security: Maintain site security standards, including access control, perimeter checks, and incident reporting.
Continuous Improvement: Continuously challenge and improve site working practices for a safer, more efficient environment.
Facilities Oversight: Oversee contractor and supplier access and activities on-site, ensuring RAMS and job forms are reviewed and signed off, conduct audits and spot checks across the site and log and escalate facilities issues to ensure swift resolution.

Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant operational, health & safety, or training role.
Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise at all levels -
Able to work within policies, procedures and legislative requirements with experience conducting audits and producing compliance reports
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
Confident in delivering training and driving a culture of continuous improvementQualifications
NEBOSH Certificate
IOSH or Level 3 Award in Health and Safety
RTITB Accredited MHE Instructor (or similar)

Flexibility to support 24/7 site operations is essential.
