As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching students aged 10-11 and preparing them for their upcoming SATs exams. KS2 Teacher responsibilities:
· Design and deliver stimulating and engaging lessons that inspire and challenge KS2 students.
· Plan and organise schemes of work in line with the school's curriculum and national standards.
· Assess and evaluate KS2 student progress using a range of formative and summative assessment strategies.
· Provide regular feedback to KS2 students, parents and colleagues on student progress.
· Create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
· Communicate effectively with parents, carers and other professionals.
· Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences.
KS2 Teacher requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
· QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent qualification
· Up-to-date knowledge of the primary school curriculum and national teaching standards
· At least 2 years' experience teaching KS2 students
· Excellent communication, organisational and teamwork skills
· A passion for education and a commitment to student welfare
· An ability to inspire and motivate KS2 students of all abilities.
