We are partnering with a pioneering company at the forefront of renewable energy innovation in Greater Manchester (South). You will have the chance to receive direct mentorship from the Engineering Director, who is also the Principal Engineer, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-moving, innovative environment.
The team is growing to bring together engineers, designers, and innovators focused on smarter, greener technologies to drive decarbonisation.
Responsibilities
* Support the design and development of mechanical/mechatronic components and systems for renewable energy technologies.
* Produce CAD models, drawings, and technical documentation.
* Assist in prototyping, assembly, and product testing.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (electrical, software, and manufacturing).
* Contribute to problem-solving, continuous improvement, and product optimisation.
Qualifications
* Recently graduated (or soon to graduate) with a degree or master's degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering; 1st class preferred.
* Strong CAD skills (SolidWorks or similar).
* Good understanding of materials, mechanics, and manufacturing processes.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* A proactive, team-oriented approach with a willingness to learn and adapt.
* Passion for renewable energy and sustainability is highly desirable.
