 
        
        Overview
Shift Maintenance Engineer – Wates Group. On-site at our client’s site in Leeds, providing both planned and reactive maintenance to all relevant equipment, controlling and operating building operational systems, and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety matters for the scope of this role.
Responsibilities
 * Ensure that all relevant help desk calls (both planned and reactive) are fully completed with sufficient information and passed back to Manager, Supervisor or Co-Ordinator in accordance with defined timescales.
 * Proactively monitor and improve the operation of building systems to ensure optimum performance with a clear focus on energy efficiency and continuous improvement.
 * First line response for all planned and reactive maintenance on all M&E plant including pumps, motors, drives, AHUs, LV switch gear, PLCs, HVAC.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a single site with multiple buildings and external plant areas.

Requirements / Qualifications
 * Working knowledge of the Statutory Regulations and Codes of Practice applicable to the maintenance industry
 * IOSH Working Safely and up-to-date qualifications
 * Shift role operates on a rota with no overnight attendance other than when called out; call-out rota to be discussed
 * Offer subject to acquiring relevant clean security checks (DBS)
 * Additional pre-employment checks may apply
