Overview:
We are seeking an organised, detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a Bookkeeper and Administrator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the daily financial transactions and ensuring smooth running of administrative operations. This role is vital for maintaining accurate records, supporting management, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the business.
Key Responsibilities - Bookkeeping:
* Record day-to-day financial transactions accurately and efficiently
* Process invoices, receipts, and payments
* Manage accounts payable and receivable
* Reconcile bank statements
* Maintain accurate ledgers and ensure all transactions are properly recorded
Key Responsibilities - Administration:
* Provide general administrative support across the business
* Manage correspondence (emails, post, phone calls)
* Maintain filing systems (digital and physical) to ensure organised records
* Support management with scheduling, document preparation, and meeting coordination
* Manage office supplies and vendor relationships
* Assist with onboarding of new staff and maintaining HR records
* Undertake any ad hoc tasks as required to support smooth business operations
Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in bookkeeping and administrative roles
* Solid understanding of accounting principles and processes
* Proficiency with bookkeeping software (such as QuickBooks)
* Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and time management
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
