Job Description
This is a fantastic opportunity for a CNC Miller/Setter/Operator to join an engineering company based in Milton Keynes that manufactures high precision CNC milled and turned components from solid and cast in a wide range of metals and plastics for a variety of industry sectors.
As CNC Miller/Setter/Operator, you will be working:
Monday-Thursday: 14:00-22:00
Friday: 13:00-20:00
What were looking for in a CNC Miller/Setter/Operator:
* Experienced Setter/Operator - Miller across a range of 3 and 5 axis CNC machine centres.
* ideally within a fast-paced precision engineering environment.
* Knowledge of either Heidenhein, Hurco or Mazatrol controls.
* Good understanding of Engineering drawings and proficient in carrying out in- process dimensional and visual checks using the appropriate measuring equipment.
* Experience in managing a wide range of metals and plastics.
* Good communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work efficiently to deadlines.
* Ability to mind multiple machines if required.
* Confident in working with a degree of autonomy.
