Role Overview
A leading national law firm is seeking to recruit a Solicitor to join its well-regarded Employment team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide range of complex and high-profile contentious and non-contentious employment matters, with a particular focus on the health and social care sector.
The role offers exposure to strategic advisory work, employment tribunal litigation and workforce change projects, including reorganisations and redundancies within a heavily regulated environment. The position is based in the firms Southampton office.
Candidate Profile / Experience Needed
The successful candidate will:
1. Be a qualified Solicitor with 1–3 years’ PQE in employment law.
2. Have experience handling both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
3. Must be confident undertaking the day-to-day conduct of Employment Tribunal litigation.
4. Demonstrate strong technical ability, sound judgement and excellent communication skills.
5. Have an interest in business development and marketing, supported by an established client services function.
