Job Overview
The successful applicant will be part of the Paediatric Occupational Therapy team, based at Provide HQ. Our children’s centre is located at Stapleford House in Chelmsford. The role includes visits in schools/nurseries, home visits, and collaboration with the child's support network including schools and families. We are a friendly, dynamic team committed to providing excellent services, with training opportunities, supervision, and some online services. The post holder will receive ADOS training.
Main duties of the job
* Conduct occupational therapy assessments, diagnose, and develop treatment plans using specialist knowledge. Manage complex cases respecting privacy, dignity, and individuality.
* Gather relevant information for patient care, monitor goal achievement, and manage discharge or ongoing care.
* Provide hands-on treatment, utilize observational skills, and adapt treatment programs for various settings, including play and age-appropriate approaches.

Qualifications and experience
* BSc(Hons) Occupational Therapy or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
* Registered with the Health Professions Council.
* At least 5 years’ experience preferred.
Skills and knowledge
* Ability to work well with others.
* IT skills.
* Valid driver’s license.
* Experience in pediatric settings and with children of various ages.
