Salary: £17.00 per hour
Hours: Monday Friday (7:00am 4:00pm)
Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Grab Driver to join a busy and well-established operation based in Wednesbury. This is a full-time, ongoing position offering stable weekday hours and a competitive hourly rate.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a grab / crane to move and load materials safely and efficiently within the yard. Previous experience working within a scrap yard or recycling environment would be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operating a crane/grab to load, move, and organise materials within the yard
* Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
* Ensuring materials are handled and sorted correctly
* Carrying out daily equipment checks and reporting any faults
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
* Following all site health and safety procedures
Requirements:
* Previous experience operating a crane/grab
* Experience working in a scrap yard or recycling environment is advantageous
* Good awareness of health and safety procedures
* Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team
