They are seeking to strengthen our team with the appointment of an experienced Transaction Lead who will be responsible for securing and delivering financial advisory mandates, lead project teams, and mentor junior staff in developing their technical and commercial skills.
This role presents a significant opportunity for the successful candidate to take a leadership position in delivering financial advisory services and shaping the future direction of our transaction team.
Role Responsibilities
You will lead financial advisory and transaction mandates, including greenfield financings, refinancings, as well as Buyside and Sellside M&A transactions in sectors such as Infrastructure, Renewable Energy, and the Energy Transition.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Leading multiple complex client engagements independently.
2. Managing commercial aspects of projects to meet quality and profitability targets.
3. Developing Teasers, Information Memorandums, running funding competitions, coordinating advisors, and closing Debt and Equity transactions.
4. Driving business development across new sectors, clients, and markets.
5. Providing technical guidance to junior staff and identifying development needs.
6. Managing engagement budgets and ensuring accurate time tracking.
7. Communicating risks and issues promptly and effectively.
8. Ensuring high-quality project delivery and participating in post-project reviews.
9. Supporting Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and performance cycles.
10. Supporting employee wellbeing and promoting a collaborative work culture.
11. Translating datasets and financial models into strategic analysis and insights.
12. Supporting marketing and business growth through project close-down processes.
13. Mentoring team members and developing internal capabilities.
Requirements

Qualifications & Experience
22. Degree in a relevant field (e.g., finance, economics, engineering, business). Advanced degrees (MBA/MSc) preferred.
23. Substantial experience (minimum 7 years) in corporate/project finance within Infrastructure, Renewables, or Energy Transition sectors.
24. Proven track record leading transactions from initiation to close.
25. Knowledge of financial analysis, investment assessment, and risk management.
26. Experience working in commercial, investment, or consulting roles on major infrastructure projects.
27. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
28. Experience in client engagement, report writing, and strategic advisory services.
