As a BSI Auditor, no two days are the same as you'll meet with a wide range of clients, from small independent businesses to large global super brands. In this role, you will act as a trusted partner to our clients, taking them through the audit process to achieve their ISO certifications. This is a busy, but extremely rewarding role as you'll foster excellence and safety across all organisations.
About the role:
As a Building & Construction Auditor, you would be joining the
EMEA Built Environment Sector Team
of other subject matter experts. You will conduct a combination of both onsite and remote management system audits on a variety of clients in the sector from Tier 1 contractors to smaller specialist contracts. You will also conduct audits in the construction materials sector for management systems.
Key responsibilities:
* Assess client systems and processes against ISO standards
* Prepare accurate, detailed assessment reports and clearly communicate findings and recommended corrective actions.
* Provide meaningful client feedback, demonstrating strong commercial and operational understanding.
* Maintain a consistent, professional, and engaging approach throughout all assessments.
Essential requirements:
You will have several years' experience in the built environment sector and, a good working knowledge of quality, environment and health & safety management systems and auditing.
In addition, you will have:
* Lead Auditor qualifications ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
* Knowledge of BS 99001 Quality in the Built Environment
* Excellent time management and prioritising skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Attention to detail
* A full and valid UK driving licence
* Fluent in English with additional languages preferred
