Job Title: Vehicle Technician Location: Bournemouth Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum OTE: £40,000 - £50,000 Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:30 Weekend Work: 1 in 4 Saturdays About the Role We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join our franchised dealership. This role is ideal for a technician who enjoys working with manufacturer standards, modern diagnostic equipment, and a structured workshop environment while delivering an excellent level of workmanship and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles to manufacturer and dealership standards. Key Responsibilities Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs in line with manufacturer guidelines Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using manufacturer-approved diagnostic tools Complete warranty work and vehicle health checks accurately Identify additional repair work and report findings clearly Ensure all job cards, documentation, and system updates are completed correctly Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workshop safety Work collaboratively with the service team to meet efficiency and quality targets Requirements Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent) Previous experience within a dealership or manufacturer-approved workshop Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Ability to work to manufacturer standards and timescales MOT licence desirable but not essential Full UK driving licence What We Offer Competitive basic salary of £30,000 - £40,000 OTE of £40,000 - £50,000 with an achievable bonus structure Monday to Friday working pattern Only 1 in 4 Saturdays Manufacturer training and ongoing development Modern, well-equipped workshop and diagnostic tools Clear career progression opportunities within the dealership How to Apply If you're an experienced Vehicle Technician looking to progress your career within a reputable dealership, we'd love to hear from you.
