Success Recruit are currently working with a growing construction business who are seeking to recruit an Executive Assistant to closely support the Managing Director and day to day running of business operations. The successful Executive Assistant will be integral to assisting the Managing Director with day-to-day operations of the business, proactively supporting, and contributing with projects and implementing company procedures. The successful Executive Assistant will be expected to: * Have exceptional communication skills both written and verbal confidently supporting MD * Confidently demonstrate and prioritise high organisational skills * Demonstrate strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines * Promote professional discretion and have had exposure to HR within a business preferable The successful Executive Assistant will be rewarded with: * Joining an established & growing company with a supportive culture * Working alongside a driven, positive team who work together to constantly improve * Being able to establish autonomy within the role supportive to the business Job Description The Executive Assistant will work closely alongside the Managing Director, supporting with the day-to-day business operation. The purpose of the role is to support and assist with implementing further company procedures / projects along with day-to-day operation of the business and supporting with growing the team and business. There will be involvement in assisting with recruitment, company policies, creating and delivering procedures. Duties to include but not limited to: * Manage & support with scheduling, travel, and meeting coordination to maximise the director’s focus on business growth * Act as first point of contact for internal and external communications, ensuring effective information is passed on to relevant parties and MD * Organise team meetings, prepare agendas, record actions when needed, and track follow-ups to drive accountability * Manage the hiring of new team members to include operational and site employment, onboarding, and team development * Coordinate with suppliers, maintaining strong professional relationships * Assist with overseeing various operation projects by monitoring deadlines, budgets, and milestones for MD * Improve operational systems and processes to support a scaling team * Support internal culture initiatives, events, and communications to enhance engagement * Co-ordinate with an external HR business on any private and confidential matters * Work closely with the MD on any admin matters to support the business Our client is looking for a confident, positive individual who is comfortable making decisions and taking ownership, this position can grow as the business continues to scale as well. Previous experience working in a small rapidly growing business would be a strong advantage and being an integral support person is essential. Hours: Monday to Friday 8-5pm – this is not a hybrid role Salary: Circa £40k - £45k dependant on experience
