This is a hybrid role, based in our London office 3 days a week. Key Responsibilities What will you be doing? As a key member of our global finance function, you'll play a pivotal role in driving Sage's transformation into a leading SaaS business. Reporting to a Director, you'll lead a talented team of analysts to deliver high-quality reporting, forecasting, and budgeting - empowering the business to make informed, strategic choices. With oversight of over £2.5bn in revenue and £0.5bn in operating profit, this role demands a commercially minded finance leader who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You'll partner with senior stakeholders across the business, from Group and Regional FDs to Investor Relations, providing clear insights and guidance that shape the company's direction. We're looking for someone who combines technical excellence with strategic thinking - a confident communicator with the emotional intelligence to influence at all levels. Experience in SaaS or software is a plus, as is a passion for continuous improvement and innovation. What are we looking for? We're looking for a confident, commercially minded finance professional who can influence, challenge, and collaborate effectively across all levels. You'll be a natural leader - guiding, coaching, and mentoring your team while driving high performance and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision. With sharp analytical skills and a strong attention to detail, you'll thrive in complex, fast-paced environments, solving problems even when information is incomplete. You'll bring a creative mindset, resilience, and a positive attitude to change, building strong cross-functional relationships to deliver meaningful results. You'll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA or equivalent) with some post-qualification experience, or hold a Master's degree in an analytical discipline. Experience with HFM or Adaptive is a plus.
