We're seeking a dedicated Employee Relations Specialist to join the BCA Logistics HR Team on a fixed-term contract (minimum 9 months). In this role, you'll play a key part in delivering outstanding ER support while working alongside a collaborative and supportive HR team. This role is available for an immediate start. This role's purpose is to provide a high service level of people relations support to Managers/leaders and people across the business ensuring this support epitomises the BCA culture & values, meeting compliance requirements and supporting delivery of business objectives. To support people relation matters, processes, and practices and to support the ongoing upskilling of managers/leaders and people. Due to the nature of our business, you may be required to work across our other business entities. Key Responsibilities To provide employee relations advice and solutions to a range of managers and people across the business A key part of the role is to coach line managers/leaders throughout to improve their capability to independently manage their people, mainly remotely Support managers/leaders in the efficient and timely completion of all administration and relating to people relations cases and organisation change situations, including managing all relevant correspondence for each case Tracking cases to ensure that trends and stats can be identified and addressed. Drive continuous improvement in the effective provision of people relations support through leveraging and guiding improvements in ways of working, policies, processes. To role always model the BCA Values and Behaviours Participate as project team member on designated business and people projects as required in all areas of the business including change projects. Work closely with and support the HR Business Partner’s to deliver consistent and high quality employee relations support across the business. Key Skills Essential Experience supporting managers with a high volume of employee relations case, including complex cases Strong, all round people relations experience covering conduct, capability, absence. Experience of working in a fast-paced commercial environment Strong listening and communication skills both verbally and in writing Strong attention to detail in providing clear and concise outcome letters and case learning reports Good experience in building and sustaining effective relationships remotely at all levels Proven knowledge of employment legislation and its application into people policies and processes Team player with good interpersonal skills and customer focused, can do attitude.
