Hampton Medical Centre is currently looking for a Salaried GP to join our busy practice for 6- 8 sessions a week. Working as part of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to support and care for a diverse patient group.

Main duties of the job
In accordance with the Practice timetable, as agreed, the post holder will make him/herself available to undertake a variety of duties including surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion.
Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self referred or referred from other health care workers within the Practice.
Assessing the health care needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.
Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
In consultation with patients and in line with current practice disease management protocols, develop care plans for health.

We are a rapidly growing practice in Hampton area of Peterborough, high QOF achieving practice, good CQC rating, a training practice which is not only having GP trainees only but also supervises students from various medical schools. We have several ARRS roles e.g two Clinical Pharmacists,Assisant General Practitioner, paramedics, care coordinators and Social prescriber all working in the practice.
We have a strong nursing team with ANPs,Practice nurse and HCA
Our management team consists of Business Manager, Operations lead, Management lead and Patient Safety Liasion Lead
Job responsibilities
Supervision of learers would be part of your job
Providing counselling and health education.
Admitting or discharging patients to and from the caseload and referring to other care providers as appropriate.
Recording clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* MRCGP, GMC Registration
Must be able to work in a pressured environment
Experience
* Must have done a UK VTS training or a working GP in UK health care settings
