Head of Merchandising / Director of Merchandising

London | 12-Month FTC | Up to £120,000
Fella & Jones are exclusively partnered with a globally recognised luxury, design-led Ready-to-Wear brand in the search for a Head of Merchandising / Director of Merchandising.
This is a pivotal leadership role overseeing the end-to-end strategy from initial concept through to commercial execution. Reporting into the Chief Product Officer and working closely with the Design, Product and Creative Director teams, you will ensure collections deliver on brand vision, global growth objectives and profitability targets across all categories.
The Role
* Define and lead the seasonal merchandising strategy across all product categories
* Build and deliver range architecture aligned to brand DNA, creative direction and global market needs
* Oversee product development, assortment planning and global pricing to maximise profitability
* Drive in-season trading performance, ensuring strong sell-through and effective risk management
* Analyse size ratios, buy depth and stock balance to optimise inventory performance
* Identify emerging product and category opportunities to strengthen brand equity and revenue growth
* Partner cross-functionally with Design, Product, Finance, Marketing, Wholesale, Retail and E-Commerce teams to ensure alignment and execution
* Gather and interpret global retail and wholesale feedback to shape future collections
* Support key launches, capsule collections and strategic product initiatives
About You
* Established merchandising leader operating at Head of or Director level
* Strong background within luxury fashion
* Strategic, commercially astute and highly analytical
* Experienced in managing global collections from concept to market
* Confident influencing senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
