Associate Director – Corporate Finance- Leeds As an Assistant Director, you’ll be responsible for managing project delivery, building strong client relationships, and supporting both internal and external growth initiatives. You’ll bring solid experience in corporate finance — on both buy-side and sell-side — and will have worked with private and public companies, owner-managed businesses, and private equity clients. You will also be supported in developing specialist sector knowledge and leadership skills. What You’ll Do: Manage client engagements from start to finish — define project scope, allocate resources, monitor budgets and timelines, and review deliverables. Lead the creation and review of key documents, including reports, financial models (Excel), and information memoranda (Word/PowerPoint). Oversee project teams, due diligence processes, and stakeholder communications. Assist Partners and Directors in refining service methodologies and offerings. Contribute to business development efforts, including pitching and proposal writing. Foster knowledge sharing, encourage innovation, and support internal training. Build and maintain trusted client relationships — often acting as the main point of contact. Play a key role in identifying new opportunities and converting them into client engagements. Represent the firm at marketing and networking events; champion our full range of services. Contribute to recruitment, training, and staff development within the Corporate Finance team. Mentor and coach junior team members, helping them progress toward their career goals. Manage team resourcing, performance reviews, and promotion recommendations. What We’re Looking For: Strong experience in both buy-side and sell-side advisory, with a proven track record of closing deals. ACA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent), or demonstrable relevant experience. Previous experience supervising or managing staff. Proficient in Microsoft Office — particularly Word and Excel. (For those working with listed clients) A working knowledge of applicable regulatory frameworks. Sector-specific experience is desirable.
