We are recruiting on behalf of a respected residential childcare provider in Milton Keynes, seeking both an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker and a Qualified RSW to join their growing team. Senior Residential Support Worker Key Responsibilities Lead shifts and support staff across daily operations
Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times
Manage young peoples behaviours and respond appropriately to incidents
Supervise staff and support their development
Complete management tasks set by the Registered Manager
Support with staff inductions and act as a point of delegation
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years experience in residential childcare
Strong understanding of safeguarding
Confident leading shifts and supporting staff teams
Residential Support Worker (Qualified) Key Responsibilities Act as a keyworker and maintain high-quality care plans
Attend external meetings and contribute to staff meetings
Follow safeguarding procedures consistently
Take part in monthly supervisions
Confident to lead the occasional shift when required
Requirements:
Completed QCF Level 3 or 4 in Children & Young People
Strong communication and safeguarding knowledge
