D365 Functional Consultant – Finance Location: Hybrid – Home & Ashford Clearance: BPSS Max Rate: £600 per day Inside IR35 Duration: 6 months (extensions possible) I am working with a key consultancy client who are seeking an experienced D365 Finance Functional Consultant to take ownership of the Finance workstream within a large‑scale transformation programme. The consultant will lead planning, coordination, and delivery of all Finance-related activities, ensuring alignment with cross-functional teams and programme objectives.This is a highly strategic and hands-on role requiring strong stakeholder engagement, deep D365 Finance expertise, and the ability to manage RAID items while driving successful workstream oues.Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the Finance workstream, ensuring delivery of all functional planning and outputs.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional programme teams to define scope and validate requirements.
3. Coordinate and track implementation activities for Finance, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
4. Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) across all D365 Finance areas.
5. Review and validate Functional Design Documents and other artefacts.
6. Manage and maintain RAID logs, actively mitigating risks and resolving issues.
7. Ensure alignment with business stakeholders and programmeernance processes.
