About the role:
We are recruiting an Electrical Technical Support Manager for Thames Water's waste division. You can be based at various Sewage Network sites depending on your location, with travel expected as needed.
Your role involves leading a team of Technical Support Engineers, providing technical support across process operations and Capital Delivery, ensuring electrical assets' installation, commissioning, and handover meet standards. You will be responsible for delivering projects, engaging with stakeholders, and supporting operational maintenance and safety investigations.
Responsibilities include:
1. Providing technical support and risk management input for electrical systems.
2. Engaging with stakeholders from Operations, Engineering, Capital Delivery, and Health & Safety.
3. Supporting capital upgrade schemes and managing project delivery.
4. Leading fault investigations and reporting.
5. Managing technical records, asset surveys, and site inspections.
Base Location: Maple Lodge, Rickmansworth, WD3 9SQ
Working Pattern: 36 hours, Monday-Friday

Candidate requirements:
* Significant electrical engineering experience in utilities or water sectors.
* Knowledge of safety regulations and operational experience as an Authorised Person.
* Experience mentoring teams and managing electrical maintenance and fault-finding.
* Qualifications: Degree or HNC in electrical engineering, BS7671 training, and authorized person appointment.
