Salary: £30,000 Per Annum / £14.42 Per Hour, 40 Hours per week.
Responsibilities
* Manage daily operations of the food and beverage outlets to ensure the highest standards of service.
* Plan, organize and direct the overall Food and Beverage operation, administration, marketing and promotion of the outlet.
* Be responsible and accountable for profitability and revenue generation.
* Implement and maintain control measures to ensure food and beverage, productivity, labour and operating supply costs align with budget; plan budgets and review forecasts monthly.
* Carry out Duty Management shifts according to business needs.
* Analyse and submit month-end reports and identify deviations from business plan goals.
* Participate in management meetings to review progress and develop the annual business plan for the outlet.
* Plan, implement and measure profit enhancement programs with the kitchen and sales department.
* Prepare and submit post-mortem promotion reports to General Manager after promotions.
* Prepare weekly and monthly forecasts for restaurant, bar and room service.
* Ensure liaison with Head Chef, Conference and Events Manager and Operations Manager.
Qualifications and Skills
* Strong leadership, interpersonal and training skills; good communicator who is service-oriented with attention to detail; team player and motivator.
* Good understanding of food hygiene and health and safety procedures.
Working Arrangements and Requirements
* We are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year, with shifts that require flexibility; evenings and weekends busier, but shift patterns and contracted hours can be discussed at interview.
