Job Purpose
We are looking for a Telephone Manager to support the growth of our Wealth Management function, as a market leading International Investment Bond and Tax and Estate Planning provider to the UK Wealth Advisory market. This is a hybrid role covering a geographical panel in the south of England.
Job Summary
1. Build strong, productive, long-term relationships with a panel of professional adviser firms through multi-level contact strategies including telephone, email, and virtual meetings.
2. Write quality business in the Canada Life wealth division and manage accounts to optimize business opportunities.
3. Understand adviser firms’ processes and organizational structures to meet sales targets and behavioral objectives, aiming to exceed them.
Key Accountabilities
1. Manage adviser firms within a geographic area, including daily activity, meetings, follow-ups, webinars, events, and campaigns using Salesforce.
2. Achieve or surpass sales targets across Canada Life’s wealth product range and activity targets such as meetings.
3. Develop relationships with professional advisers to maximize sales and increase market share, implementing effective contact strategies.
4. Maintain high technical and industry knowledge of Canada Life’s International products, with regular testing.
5. Achieve and maintain competency under the Distribution T&C Scheme.
6. Develop account plans including research, competitor analysis, quotes, and sales initiatives, demonstrated through meeting observations.
Desired Knowledge / Experience / Skills
1. Experience in a financial services sales role with a proven track record.
2. Experience working with financial advisers and understanding their operations.
3. Understanding of UK taxation system and international bond market.
4. Experience with Platforms and Discretionary Fund Managers is desirable.
5. Ability to work in a team, sharing responsibility for sales targets.
6. Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce.
7. Strong relationship-building and presentation skills.
Qualifications
* Minimum: CII Diploma in Financial Planning – Level 4 (or studying for it).
