 
        
        Job Summary
The Community Therapy Service team in Wallingford is looking for an enthusiastic clinician with an interest in Mental Health to join the team as a Senior Band 6 in a part‑time capacity of 30 hours per week.
We are looking for a senior clinician with a mental health background, who is enthusiastic to develop their clinical practice within innovative and supportive multidisciplinary teams, treating patients in their own homes.
Core Responsibilities
 * Provide high quality mental health rehabilitation to patients referred to or within the Community Therapy Service (CTS).
 * Use expertise to help support other CTS practitioners achieve rehabilitation goals.
 * Support the community response physical health pathway.
 * Work closely with the Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) to minimise duplication, maximise efficiency and facilitate a seamless pathway between services.
 * Establish and deliver a care plan for the patient and understand the roles and responsibilities of the clinicians.
 * Supervise and train students, junior colleagues and provide teaching of multidisciplinary staff.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
 * Nursing/Occupational therapy/Physiotherapy degree or equivalent.
 * Current NMC/HCPC registration.
 * Previous NHS or UK Adult Social Care experience.
 * Previous mental health experience as a Band 5 or equivalent.
 * Good written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable
 * Good knowledge of rehabilitation and community services.
 * Experience of supervising student placements.
 * Experience of CPD programmes such as CBT training and Masters modules (e.g., frailty management).

Contract and Salary
Band 6 – £38,682 to £46,580 per annum (Pro‑rata). Fixed term, 12 months, part‑time.
