Assembly Technician / Inspector (Electro-Mechanical)

A leader in engineering and manufacturing, delivering high-quality electro-mechanical solutions. We are looking for a skilled Assembly Technician / Inspector with a strong background in electro-mechanical systems to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and precision.
Day-to-day of the role:
Assembly Duties:
- Assemble mechanical and electrical components according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Build electro-mechanical systems and sub-assemblies to a high standard.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment effectively.
- Conduct functional testing of assembled units as required.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve build issues.
Inspection & Quality Duties:
- Perform in-process and final inspections of components and assembled products.
- Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional checks to ensure quality compliance.
- Identify defects, non-conformances, and faults, escalating where necessary.
- Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate quality records.
- Support continuous improvement in quality and manufacturing processes.
General Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all health & safety procedures and company policies.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Report faults, issues, or production concerns to management.
- Assist in packing and preparing finished goods for dispatch.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong electro-mechanical assembly experience.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
- Proficient with hand tools, measuring instruments, and electrical testing equipment.
- Experience in inspection or quality control is highly desirable.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication skills and ability to work within a team.
- Basic computer skills for recording production and inspection data.
