Role: Pre-Construction Utility Consultant

Role Overview
Our client is a specialist multi-utility consultancy supporting UK developers in various sectors. They provide end-to-end utility services, from feasibility to commissioning, specializing in complex urban environments.
Responsibilities
1. Client Engagement & Proposal Development: Collaborate with senior colleagues to meet clients, understand needs, and develop proposals.
2. Technical and Commercial Advisory: Liaise with utility providers, assess risks, and communicate findings effectively.
3. Design & Coordination: Prepare utility designs, coordinate with CAD teams, and manage tenders.
4. Procurement & Contractor Management: Develop scopes, manage procurement processes, and oversee contractor relations.
5. Project Delivery: Oversee enabling works, lead meetings, review documentation, and manage project closeout.
6. Accountability: Take ownership of delivery stages, utilizing technical and commercial resources.
Requirements
1. Proven experience in utility connections and infrastructure in the UK.
2. Strong understanding of utility network requirements.
3. Experience with multi-utility providers and relevant networks.
4. Background in large, multidisciplinary projects.
5. Excellent organizational and client relationship skills.
6. Solid technical and commercial industry knowledge.
7. Effective communication and networking abilities.
Additional Details
