Job Description:
MCS Group is supporting a large public sector organisation based in Belfast in adding a HR Business Coordinator. The role includes:
1. Supporting the Human Resource Manager(s) in managing human resources and employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
2. Acting as investigating officer for grievances and disciplinary cases, conducting investigations in accordance with HR policies.
3. Managing human resource records related to recruitment, discipline, sickness absence, overtime, and leave, and developing reports for management.
4. Monitoring, measuring, and auditing departmental HR performance data, including overtime, agency work, and attendance management.
5. Participating in absence management, disciplinary, and grievance cases as needed.
6. Assisting in managing sickness absence and ensuring compliance with absence policies.
The Person:
Essential qualifications and experience include:
* A 3rd-level qualification in Business Studies or Human Resource Management.
* Experience within a unionised organisation.
* Advice and guidance experience in key HR subjects.
