Exams Manager
Salary: £39,903 – £44,962 per annum

Think FE are proud to be advertising this opportunity on behalf of a well-established and student-focused college in Northampton, who are seeking a dedicated Exams Manager to lead and coordinate their central Exams service. The Exams team is a vital part of the college’s infrastructure, supporting academic success through the efficient and compliant delivery of assessments across all departments. This is a rewarding leadership role for someone with a strong background in examinations who thrives on detail, organisation, and supporting young people through a critical stage in their education.
You will manage all aspects of the exam cycle, lead a small team, and collaborate across departments to ensure exam processes are delivered efficiently and in line with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage internal and external examinations
Ensure full compliance with JCQ and Awarding Organisation regulations
Supervise and support the Exams team
Coordinate invigilation and access arrangements
Maintain accurate records and exam data
Liaise with curriculum staff, students, and external bodies
Create an organised and supportive exam environment Who are we looking for?
Experience working in an examinations environment
Knowledge of Awarding Organisation processes
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
