Quartz Recruitment is working with a leading holiday resort in North Devon to find an experienced Business Development Manager with a background in coach tours and group travel .
This role is all about growing group business. Youll be responsible for developing relationships with tour operators, bringing in new group bookings, and raising the resorts profile across the UK coach tour market.
Its a hybrid role, based in Ilfracombe, with regular UK travel.
The role Youll take the lead on coach tour and group travel business, from identifying new opportunities through to securing bookings and maintaining long-term trade relationships. Youll also work closely with the senior team to shape group packages and make sure the resort continues to appeal to this market.
Key responsibilities Grow coach tour and group travel business through targeted business development
Build and maintain strong relationships with tour operators and group organisers
Generate new business through outbound sales, networking and industry contacts
Represent the resort at trade shows, events and industry meetings
Keep an eye on market trends and competitor activity
Work with internal teams to develop attractive group offers
Report on performance, pipeline and future opportunities
About you Proven experience in business development or new business sales
Essential: experience within the coach tour industry and existing trade contacts
Commercially minded and comfortable working to targets
Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
Organised, proactive and happy working independently
Willing to travel across the UK as needed
