Working nights on a 4 on / 4 off shift, youll be carrying out a range of maintenance, servicing and repairs to keep vehicles safe, compliant and on the road.
Key Responsibilities Carry out routine servicing, repairs and inspections on HGVs Diagnose and rectify faults in line with DVSA standards Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and presentation Complete accurate job cards and paperwork Work to manufacturer and company procedures to ensure first-time fixes Support colleagues and maintain a safe, efficient workshop environment What Youll Need Recognised Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI) or equivalent Proven experience working as an HGV Technician / Mechanic Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical and electrical faults Full UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable) Willingness to work 12-hour night shifts on a 4 on / 4 off pattern Benefits Competitive hourly pay of £24.47 (including shift xjlbheb premium) Additional Technician Grade Bonus scheme Annual leave entitlement of 240 hours including bank holidays Ongoing manufacturer and in-house training Supportive team environment with opportunities to progress Sound like you?
