As a Senior Technical Application Specialist in our Crypto Software team, you’ll play a key role in operating and shaping complex cryptographic solutions. This is a unique opportunity to influence how we prepare for emerging threats such as quantum computing, while driving forward our strategy for crypto agility.
Key responsibilities
* Operate and maintain cryptographic solutions (both internal and 3rd party developed) to ensure secure and reliable services.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex cryptographic issues, driving root cause analysis and preventive measures.
* Collaborate with security and application teams to implement best practices and support encryption needs.
* Contribute to crypto agility initiatives and readiness for emerging threats such as quantum computing.
* Identify and implement automation and process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk.
What you’ll need
* Understanding of Security and Cryptography solutions for Cloud workloads
* Encryption key management as applied to virtual machine storage (VMware‑vSAN) for data at rest encryption
* In-depth knowledge of the deployment and usage of KMIP keys in cloud and non‑cloud environments using CipherTrust Manager
* SSH key management by using Universal Key Manager
* Ability to work on your own initiative, and assist senior SMEs in design and implementation of new initiatives and support of legacy services and applications
* Aptitude to acquire the skills to run and coordinate the maintenance and support of one or more Cyber Security tools and/or processes.
