Our client is looking for a knowledgeable and strategic Policy Advisor to support the development, analysis, and implementation of public or organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct research and analysis on policy issues, legislative developments, and regulatory frameworks
* Prepare briefing materials, policy papers, and strategic recommendations for internal and external stakeholders
* Monitor relevant political, economic, and social trends that may impact the organization or sector
* Engage with government agencies, industry representatives, advocacy groups, and other stakeholders
* Support the drafting of submissions, position statements, and consultation responses
* Provide expert advice to senior leadership on the implications of existing and proposed policies
* Assist in the development and evaluation of policy initiatives and programs
* Ensure alignment of policies with organizational objectives and compliance requirements
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Law, Economics, or a related field
* Proven experience in policy analysis, government affairs, legislative research, or related areas
* Strong understanding of policy development processes, governance structures, and stakeholder engagement
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to interpret complex information and communicate it clearly to a variety of audiences
