Design and Technology Technician

Grade 3, spinal column points 5-7, (£25,583 - £26,403)
Actual Salary (tto) £21,907 - £22,610
We seek to appoint a suitably experienced and enthusiastic design and technology technician to support the continuing development of this successful department.
This post would suit a candidate who is passionate about working with a variety of materials (e.g. wood, metal, plastics) and by supporting a group of teaching professionals, you will be able to help enthuse our well behaved and eager to learn students to work with those materials too.
The role focuses on supporting teaching and learning in the product design, resistant materials, graphic products, construction and CAD CAM areas of technology and therefore the successful candidate will have a particular interest and aptitude for woodwork and metalwork, with computer aided design and manufacture being a distinct advantage.
